Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram will soon get paid features

Meta's Facebook, WhatsApp, and Instagram advertising revenue have declined significantly since

Apple introduced App Tracking Transparency for iOS devices

A report by Bloomberg suggests that this year will be even worse.

It appears that Meta will offset some of the decline by implementing a strategy to offer 'paid' features in its core products.

The verge first reported this and an internal memo sent out to employees indicates that the company appears to have begun to work across these features.

Mark Zuckerberg, CEO, stated that the company would not be earning any commissions from paid features until 2024.

According to the report, Meta has created a new product organization called 'New Monetisation Experiences'.
